There are different mixing ratios included in the instructions on the bottle. You would mix it weaker (1 part product to 8 parts water) for just undercoat blowout and general conditioning, or stronger (1:4 ratio) if you are using it on a more matted coat. That diluted mix is applied to a clean and rinsed coat, then it's blown through, with no need to rinse.
